Perry Park is home to Brisbane Strikers FC and supports more than 50 hours of football use each week.

Grassports QLD resurfaced the existing worn synthetic field with LigaTurf 250 Cross 18/8, retaining system components that remained fit for purpose while upgrading the playing surface for continued high-intensity use. The all-weather field provides additional capacity for training and futsal competition, particularly when wet conditions restrict access to the venue’s natural turf.

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Retained the existing ProPlay performance pad, extending the value of components still fit for purpose.
  • Upgraded the surface to LigaTurf Cross 250 to support intensive weekly use.
  • Installed BrockFILL, an engineered wood-particle performance infill designed to provide natural feel, cooling performance and reduce infill migration.
  • Maintained a flexible field layout, incorporating two mini fields to help distribute wear across the pitch.
