Firth Park Netball Centre has undergone a major transformation, emerging as one of Queensland’s largest and most impressive netball facilities.
Delivered by Grassports Queensland, the redevelopment introduced 24 championship-quality netball courts surfaced with Laykold Advantage in a distinctive Teal and Midnight colour scheme. The upgraded venue was designed to accommodate both grassroots participation and elite-level competition, significantly increasing the centre’s capacity to host major sporting events.
Laykold Advantage was selected for its proven durability, slip resistance and ability to deliver consistent performance in all weather conditions. The textured acrylic surface achieves the 75 BPN rating required by Netball Australia, providing players with reliable traction and confidence underfoot.
More than just a court upgrade, the project represents a significant investment in community sport on the Gold Coast, creating a modern sporting precinct capable of supporting the next generation of netball athletes.
