Pukete Playground transforms traditional playground surfacing into an active and engaging play experience through the creative use of colour, pattern and movement.
Installed using Australian-made SYNLawn CoolPlay over a Schmitz ProPlay shock pad system, the project combines artificial grass technology with carefully designed activity zones that encourage physical movement and imaginative play. Running tracks, hopscotch-style elements and confidence-building pathways are integrated directly into the surfacing design.
Every graphic element was individually measured and hand-cut on site to achieve a precise finish, while the impact-absorbing underlay provides additional safety, drainage performance and long-term durability. SYNLawn CoolPlay’s non-directional yarn construction with exclusive COOLplus™ technology further enhance usability in outdoor environments.
The result is a vibrant and highly functional community playground where surfacing becomes an active part of the play experience rather than simply the space beneath it.
