Riverhills Playspace demonstrates how wet pour rubber surfacing can become an integral part of playground design rather than simply a safety requirement.
Working across a 280m² installation, Rubberworx utilised Ecolastic Neo EPDM wet pour rubber to create a seamless play environment featuring sculptural landforms, flowing transitions and interactive play elements. The project required extensive technical expertise to deliver complex three-dimensional elements while maintaining strict compliance with playground safety standards.
Tunnel mounds, slide embankments and elevated walking features were carefully hand-finished to achieve smooth contours and seamless integration throughout the playspace. The result is a highly durable safety surface that enhances both the visual appeal and functionality of the playground.
The completed installation showcases the versatility of EPDM wet pour rubber, combining impact attenuation, durability and creative design to encourage exploration, movement and imaginative play.
