As one of the premier tournaments on the WTA calendar, the Wuhan Open demands facilities capable of meeting the highest standards of professional tennis.
For the 2025 event, Guangdong UHS Sports Co., Ltd delivered 12 elite-level tennis courts using the Laykold Masters acrylic surfacing system, marking a significant milestone as the first major tournament in China to feature Laykold competition courts. Installed in Midnight and Medium Green colourways, the courts were designed to provide the consistency, durability and player comfort required for international tournament play.
Beyond the surface installation, the project included extensive court preparation works, including foundation improvements and precision levelling to ensure optimal playing conditions across both competition and practice courts. Every aspect of the project was completed to meet the strict expectations of a world-class professional sporting event.
