APT has a network of expert design and installation agents throughout Australia and New Zealand.
In 2019 Laykold installation experts, Grand Slam Surfaces, undertook the mammoth task of surfacing six different areas across Noble Park, Clayton and Carnegie in Victoria, Australia to create vibrant community activation spaces.
As a result of Victoria’s largest ever rail project which saw the removal of the level crossings in the area and moving the train system into the air, a total of 22.5 hectares of open community space was created. As part of the larger project, Grand Slam transformed six spaces by using Laykold’s standard and vibrant colours to create a variety of sports courts and recreational spaces including basketball courts, parkour equipment, table tennis, and four square.
The project overall has won a number of prestigious design and construction awards, with Grand Slam Surfaces awarded Sport Group Asia Pacific’s Project of the Year in 2019.
