Manufactured and installed to meet FIFA certification requirements, LigaTurf’s range of synthetic soccer turf is suitable for A-League, community clubs and schools. Our Australian made synthetic soccer fields are designed to deliver year-round usage, consistent playing conditions and minimise injury.
The LigaTurf brand launched over 16 years ago and to this day it continues to serve as the preferred artificial surface for elite-level football stadiums, training centres and clubs around the world. As the first artificial football turf system to feature a straight monofilament to mimic natural grass, LigaTurf sparked a revolution in the artificial turf market. It is held in high regard by many of the world’s leading football codes, including FIFA who have installed it at their headquarters in Switzerland.
The new LigaTurf Cross 250 features Polytan’s exclusive Twintuft formulation that provides the perfect balance of protection, durability, softness and strength suitable for professional clubs and players.
The Twintuft formulation combines RS+ monofilament fibres with texturised LigaGrass filament fibres delivering optimum function capabilities in each system.
RS+ monofilament, non-directional fibres offer the highest performance characteristics such as resilience to wear, controlled traction and rotational values.
The texturised LigaGrass filaments promote durability and encapsulate the infill which reduces ball splash.

The LigaTurf HB250 is far more than just turf. It is a complete system designed for performance and built to last.
It has been developed to meet the high-performance standards of professional football turf. The use of combined fibrillated and monofilament sports yarn ensures turf durability and resilience, while reduced SBR infill content reduces splash and surface heat. The shock pad layer is critical for shock absorption and protecting serious player injury.

Where natural grass isn’t an option or isn’t delivering the desired quality, performance or safety, LigaTurf soccer turf is an ideal solution. Many natural grass fields begin to deteriorate if used more than 20 hours a week, whereas a synthetic field can withstand up to 60 hours’ usage. LigaTurf systems offer a consistent playing surface and require less maintenance which, over the lifetime of a field, can benefit a club financially and environmentally.
The infill and/or filling material used in our LigaTurf football systems ensures optimal playing properties, protects players and athletes against injury and reduces surface heat. There are a variety of infill options to suit budget, performance and green credentials.
In 2001 FIFA established the FIFA Quality Programme for Football Turf in response to the growing need for an alternative to natural turf for football (soccer) fields. The FIFA Quality Programme for Football Turf aims to endorse products that meet strict quality requirements designed to improve the game and to protect players, clubs and associations.
All LigaTurf systems have been manufactured and can be installed to meet the FIFA Quality Programme requirements.
